About Me
I am a student in High Tech High and as of making this portfolio, am in the second semester of the ninth grade. I have a lot of hobbies and interests such as drawing, archery, fishing, camping, hiking, Norse Mythology, anything relating to Iceland, and more. I have a strength in creativity and my imagination. I have a weakness in social interaction, leading/directing, taking initiative, and focusing; I plan to improve my skills to not have these weaknesses by the time I am an adult. I was born July 31st, 2011 in California, U.S.A. I love learning about other cultures and how to pronounce long words such as "Pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis" (A lung disease from inhaling silica dust from volcanoes, also the longest word in English excluding the chemical name for Titin), "Vaðlaheiðarvegavinnuverkfærageymsluskúraútidyralyklakippuhringur" (Which is my favorite word, being ~sixty-five letters long). It is the longest word in Icelandic, and translates to "the key ring for the outer door key of the tool shed used by road workers on Vaðlaheiði". I plan to be an author and a mythologist when I'm an adult. Most of my stories will be fiction, about Norse Mythology, and will be as mythologically/historically accurate as I can make it. I plan to learn all about Norse myth so I can accomplish the goal of accuracy in my stories.
Project Sneak PeakThese images are a small showcase of only a few of many different projects that I did over the first semester. They are all special in their own way and very different from each other, despite being all connected to the same project. These projects are merely the tip of the iceberg to all the fun, interesting projects that teach you a huge variety of useful skills for life. If you are interested in learning more, everything can be found on the Projects page with more in depth explanations and media.
